Vehicle Maintenance

Major Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance and repairs on various pieces of city-owned vehicles and equipment
• Scheduling and repairs on equipment for the Public Service and Public Safety Divisions in the most timely manner
• Maintaining and recording of fuel usage with a Gasboy Fleetkey Fueling System
• Assist all divisions with new vehicle specifications, purchases, equipping the new vehicle and eventually sales of surplus vehicles and equipment
• All repairs, maintenance, inventory, and fuel consumption are entered into computer software program
• Process gratis and convert license plates for city-owned vehicles
